Our Nepal adventure will start from sightseeing Katmandu - capital of the country. Further on, we will visit Patan - old capital of Nepal, biggest "stupa" Bouddhanath and most famous in Nepal Hinduistic sanctuary of Pashupatinath. From Katmandu we will make an exiting bus trip to Syabru Bensi (1450 m). On the way to Lama Hotel village (2480 m) we will pass rhododendron jungle admire rumbling waterfalls. In Langtang village (3480 m) we will spend one day in order to get used to high mountain conditions. Subsequently, we reach Kyangijn village (3900m). In Kyangijn we visit local cheese manufacture and we get acclimatised on the top of Tsergo Ri (4984 m). Then we depart to set up our base camp for the Naya Kanga (5840 m) final climb. We will start climbing very early in the morning, before the sun dawn. Climbing up the glacier is a very exiting beatiful adventure, which ends with graet views to the whole valley from the top of the peak. After reaching the top we go down to Kyangijn and then we descent to Syabru Bensi village from where we travel by bus to Kathmandu. While our stay in Nepal will come to the end we will sightsee Baktapuru (oldest city in Katmandu valley, former royal capital) and Kirtipuru, a beautiful village located at the hilltop. |
