| What kind of gear to take for a trekking or climbing expedition? |

The question above is one of the most frequent. There is no simple answer. Most important factor to choose appropriate gear is a kind of planed activity (hiking, climbing, ice climbing) but region, season, participants' fitness and many more parameters may also be important.
Below we offer three gear sets [A], [B] and [C], which include lists of personal equipment and gear.
