Our Nepal adventure will start from sightseeing Katmandu - capital of the country. Further on, we will visit Patan - old capital of Nepal, biggest "stupa" Bouddhanath and most famous in Nepal Hinduistic sanctuary of Pashupatinath. From Katmandu we will depart to Chipling village and further on through other interesting traditional villages, gaining slowly the height. In Therapati village (3600 m) we will spend one day in order to get used to high mountain conditions. Subsequently, passing through Laurebina La pass (4600 m) we reach pictersque Gosaikund village (4390 m), located in the "garden" of emerald lakes. Than, passing through Chalangpati, Lama Hotel and Langtang villages, we reach Kyangijn village (3900m). In Kyangijn we visit local cheese manufacture and spend few days exploring beauty of the valley. From Kyangijn we depart towards Ganja La pass and set up a camp at the heght of ca. 5000 m. After crossing the pass we will be on our own for three days. Far away from any settlements we will travel through wild mountains, spending nights in tents. After those days of solitude we will reach Tarkeghang village from where we move towards Melamchii village where we will visit Buddhist monastery. While our stay in Nepal will come to the end we will sightsee Baktapuru (oldest city in Katmandu valley, former royal capital) and Kirtipuru, a beautiful village located at the hilltop. photogallery
